Apologies Mark Bernhardt, Carly Bernhardt, Howard Tear, Cherrelle Parnell, Kiely Reed, Richard Lowe. Dan Roberts.

1, Feedback on season: overall all the coaches thought the season went well. The format is okay for the girls but the boys needs tweaking. Refereeing is still an issue at some colleges with Farnborough, Alton, QMC and Portsmouth only being able to get one referee but one qualified referee is better than none. QMC raised an issue about Referees at Itchen during two of their games.  With games where the score maybe close or the standard is good both team coaches need to communicate prior to the game and both supply a referee so that certain situations do not arise.

2, Hampshire County cup venue.  Every year the Final is hosted at Barton Peveril I will look into booking St Mary’s with Cliff as a change of venue. Kevin will put the cup draw together and we no longer have to start in October to fit it in before the Nationals start as we are going to have a separate draw for that competition. The County cup will probably start after Christmas.

3, National league Dynamik cup, Itchen girls are going to play in the WABL which will now change the format of our Hampshire cup competition, as winners of this competition proceed through to the Nationals but Itchen are ineligible as they play in the higher competition. Therefore, a separate knockout cup for the girls similar to the boys will now happen. (Gail Richards needs to be contacted).

4, The girls league is going to stay as the same format, either a home or away draw with a playoff at the end of the season with the top 4 and the bottom teams playing friendlies if they wish to.

5, Boys league format change. This went to a vote and those in attendance voted for an A and B league if you have two boys teams you MUST submit your SIX dominated players to Cliff and Kevin before the first fixture.  Kevin is going to draw up two separate leagues with a play off at the end.

6, Cliff has done another great job this year of keeping the leagues and cups up to date on the website. It is very important all coaches send their results in straight after the game. Cliff is working on a simpler way to do this and there should be a WhatsApp group where you can send a picture of the score sheet.

AOB

League rules and constitution need to be sent to Cliff to upload to the website. Kevin Cleary to do this.

Annie who is sharing the finance role with Nicky Brawn mentioned affiliation fees should remain at £30 to cut costs only 10 medals per team was an idea but all coaches agreed that we do not need cup runners up medals and league runners up medals just a winner’s trophy and runners up trophy will do.
